The image of a tourist destination is the record that the tourist takes in the mind after a visit or is the concept that a tourist or potential visitor has in mind. The purpose of this work was to identify the tourist image of Acapulco, during a period of four months, supported by consumer theory. The study approach was quantitative, adaptable to the functionalist structural paradigms, using the hypothetical deductive method, applying a survey to a random sample of 400 tourists, the variables analyzed were seduction, cognitive image, hedonic image and satisfaction.
