Abstract
Dengue is a disease caused by dengue virus. Dendritic cells, monocytes and macrophages, are mainly infected by this virus and these cells release exosomes during infection. Exosome secretion by cells infected by the DENV virus can improve the immune response or favor viral evasion. Objective: To analyze the proteomic profile of exosomes secreted by U937 DC-SIGN macrophages infected with DENV2 and the effect of exosomal content on viral replication.
