"Voces que existen" Las experiencias de las mujeres de los pueblos originarios indígenas que participan en el sistema normativo interno de Ayutla de los Libre, Guerrero.
Abstract
The participation of indigenous women is one of the main challenges of democracy in Mexico. This sector of the population is one of the most vulnerable, seeing themselves at a double disadvantage, due to their gender and ethnicity, a situation that has motivated them to embark on a path towards the construction of greater
political participation. The objective of this study is to analyze the experiences of the political participation of indigenous women in the municipality of Ayutla de los Libres, Guerrero, a town where for the first time they elected their representatives through the internal normative system (uses and customs), under the principle of gender
parity.
