Abstract

In the present work, the general objective is to examine the causes and effects around the current problem of collective and solidarity work in the rural community of Aguacatillo Acapulco, Mexico, with the purpose of making visible, understanding and explaining the social phenomenon of loss. of social capital that prevents carrying out collective action; The social phenomenon under study manifests itself as a lack of social cohesion, cooperation and/or citizen participation in the search for solutions to the problems that afflict the community, this situation has caused evidente damage to the social fabric and therefore to the social capital and collective action, determining social factors when trying to develop participatory associative exercises with a Social and Solidarity Economy (ESS) approach. This research describes the current situation of this problematic reality, the obvious adverse consequences, the causes that from my perspective originated the problem and my reflection on the collective and solidarity actions that we must undertake as solution alternatives that allow us to mitigate the damage., to improve the socioeconomic conditions of the community. The investigative process is aligned to the methodology proposed with a mixed approach, making use of the theoretical-methodological tool mapping of actors, as well as the interview technique to complement the collection of both qualitative and quantitative information. to finally, through 4 descriptive tables and conceptual maps, present the findings resulting from participant observation as the central research method of this ethnography.
