Efecto de los antioxidantes sobre la expresión de moléculas que regulan la conducta alimentaria en ratas diabéticas.
Resumen
To establish a representative DM model that present most of the characteristics of the disease; and to evaluate if antioxidants can regulate diabetic hyperphagia and determine if this is related to the change in the expression of molecules that regulate appetite.

Animal models are very useful to understand the disease and to search for new therapeutic strategies that avoid or attenuate the complications that occur in this disease. Diabetic hyperphagia is a behavior related to inadequate control of the diabetic patient, therefore its control, could reflect the improvement of the diabetic individual.
