dc.description.abstract | Insulin resistance, is a metabolic disorder that occurs primarily in obesity, due to deficient insulin signaling. Adenovirus 36 (Ad-36) has been reported to increase adipogenesis, but positively regulates the distal signaling of insulin in adipose tissue, which improves insulin resistance. However, the relationship between adipokines and insulin resistance in the presence of Adenovirus 36 is unknown. | |
