The nursing care provided to the patient with endotracheal intubation should be oriented to provide a state of greater physical and psychological comfort, in order to achieve a speedy recovery of health, avoid complications and minimize possible sequelae. Objective: To determine the effectiveness of the nursing educational intervention for the care of the patient with endotracheal intubation in the Intensive Care Unit of the ISSSTE Hospital in Acapulco Guerrero.
