dc.description.sponsorship | Marine diatoms have the capacity to synthesize and secrete a variety of secondary metabolites with possible applications in the pharmaceutical industry, however their study is still limited. Therefore, the objective of this work was to isolate and cultivate the species Chaetoceros curvisetus, Asterionella japonica and Biddulphia mobiliensis from the Bay of Santa Lucía in Acapulco, Guerrero, as well as to determine the antibacterial activity and the qualitative phytochemical profile of total extracts obtained from these against bacteria of clinical interest. | |
