Abstract

Inside a battle conquered by the Maoist movement, the ronderos, that is, peasants from the Cajamarca region, set in motion a series of communal meetings that came to question the official policy and resistance organized by the radical left. This rejection represented the disarmament of a manual revolution and began a long process of struggle and resistance from below. Therefore, the purpose of this work is to interpret in a historical way how the peasant patrols put into effect other forms of horizontal power and social articulation.
