dc.description.abstractThis research is located within the framework of primary basic education, takes as its center of study the content and structure of the collective argumentation raised among fifth graders while they refute. The problem addresses the need to include refutation as a way to manage the construction of students' arguments, in addition, it is required to delve into the types of arguments and structures of collective argumentation when refuting data, warrants or conclusions. To do this, the objectives were outlined: 1) Characterize the arguments built by the students when refuting conclusions, warrants or data in the collective argumentation and 2) Analyze the structures of the collective argumentation raised in mathematics class in the context of the refutation.
