This work arises from situated knowledge, from our own experience, having su+ered from Covid-19 in May 2020. From the re#ection on the multitude of tasks that women already have assigned to us in our various roles, as mothers of families and employees, which the Covid crisis multiplied since, in addition to normal care, it added care for themselves and others, other relatives sick with COVID. ,e work focused on knowing the reality of the interviewed women who contracted the virus and/or lived with people in their family infected with Covid. I conducted the interviews using a 9-question questionnaire aimed at making visible the participation of women in care during the pandemic, the conditions in which they carried out this care work, their age, occupation, and other tasks that they had to assume sick and in the care of other people infected by the Covid-19 virus. One of the questions allows us to know how the participation of men was, to try to know the impact of the pandemic on gender inequality, previously existing, but aggravated by the pandemic, as we can see in the results. It is an exploratory work, with a qualitative approach, that seeks to contribute to the relection of the situation of women in care work, trying to make visible the historical debt in the unequal distribution in charge of women, which becomes a serious limitation for the development of the human potential of women.
