Plan de educación ambiental para la gestión sustentable de los residuos sólidos urbanos en la unidad habitacional Real del Palmar; Acapulco de Juárez, Guerrero.

Abstract

The objective of this project was to train the inhabitants of the Aliso Marítimo Condominium in Acapulco de Juárez, Guerrero, in the process of managing Urban Solid Waste: organic and inorganic, based on the theory of environmental education and socio-environmental pedagogy. To achieve this, the specific objectives were set: 1) Training in the correct separation of organic urban solid waste, 2) Operationalizing the correct separation of inorganic urban solid waste to collect them, through companies dedicated to them. To achieve the specific objectives, the five phases of participatory research of Martí (2002) were developed: Pre-research, diagnosis, programming, conclusions and proposals, implementation and evaluation (summarizes the stages as you observed them) which were approached from a analysis of the problem until the elaboration of a proposal. The purpose of this work is to provide knowledge in the management of urban solid waste from a residential condominium through an environmental education plan for sustainable management, which the result was stabilized as the implementation of an agroecological garden putting into operation the process of the circular economy, a qualitative approach was used, through awareness workshops and knowledge of the actions and repercussions in favor of the environment; using strategies with participatory actions, in which families were involved as a whole.
