Gestión del riesgo desde un enfoque participativo: propuesta de mejoramiento de albergues de emergencia en la periferia urbana de Acapulco.

Abstract

This work adresses the situation of emergency shelters in contexts such as Llano Largo, in the urban periphery of Acapulco, characterized by inequality and social vulnerability. Emergency shelters today are Little analyzed and are not always prepared to care fr the population that is in an emergency situation. Therefore, the objective f this Project was to develop a collaborative proposal between civil society and authorities to improve the management of emergency shelters in Llano Largo. This was done through an análisis of the deployment of the shelters in hurricanes Ingrid and Manuel in 2013. The methodology used was qualitative and focused mainly on the participation of the shakeholders involved in the life of shelters. Finally, the proposal consists of a collaborative management model for these spaces.
