Abstract

The cellulolytic bacterial consortia (CBC) serve as additives in the feed of ruminants to improve the degradation of cellulose and hemicellulose. The objective of the present study was to determine the in vitro production of gas and the fermentative characteristics of CBC of water buffalo and Suiz-bu cow in coculture with ruminal bacteria of Suiz-bu cow.
