Variantes genéticas en FPGS y GGH y su asociación con la respuesta y toxicidad al tratamiento con metotrexato en pacientes con artritis reumatoide.
Resumen
Methotrexate (MTX) is a safe and effective drug used to treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA), however, some patients have a poor therapeutic response or adverse and toxic manifestations related to MTX use. It has been described that polymorphisms in the genes involved in MTX metabolism may be involved in the variability of the response to therapy in RA patients. Objective. To evaluate the association of polymorphisms of the genes FPGS (rs1544105 -2572 C> T) and GGH (rs11545078 452C> T and rs3758149 -401 C> T) with markers of toxicity and response to MTX treatment in patients with RA.
