Translocación y concentraciones de metales pesados en plantas de jitomate (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill.) cultivadas en hidroponía.
Resumen
The ability of accumulation and translocation of heavy metals in tomato plants was evaluated using a closed hydroponics system. The tomato seeds used were Rio Grande variety. They were planted inside a greenhouse covered with anti-aphids mesh with three layers of plastic on the roof and ground mesh cover on the floor. Low density polyethylene buckets of 12 liters were used to place the substrate. The growing media was tezontle for the hydroponic system after transplanting. Steiner nutrient solution was used at 72 atm in the hydroponic system, adding lead oxide (Pb3O4), sodium arsenate (Na3AsO4), cadmium chloride (CdCl2), nickel chloride (NiCl2) and potassium chromate (K2CrO4) at different concentrations (10, 1, 0.1 and 0.01 mg L-1). A total digestion using aqua regia (1HNO3 + 3HCl) was carried out after flowering and harvest.
