Abstract

This thesis formulates a proposal for strengthening the social fabric in a group made up of 10 Corn producers called Metlapil Nuevo Destino. With the main objective of implementing a process of establishing a consumer cooperative as a means of rebuilding the social. The research was carried out with a qualitative methodology with an ethnographic approach, in which the observation guide instruments were carried out in a participatory manner, participatory diagnosis and ex-ante and ex-post questionnaire to make a comparative analysis of growth. of the social fabric due to the results of the workshops, instruments found in Annex A. In the case of Metlapil Nuevo Destino, the strengthening of the social sector of the economy was sought through workshops, participatory meetings and courses that favor growth economically in a social and supportive manner, without depending on government paternalism, this in order to take advantage of the potential of the territory, in a way that allows the community to strengthen its social relations, and generate strong social cohesion. The social economy in the community of Metlapil, in the specific case of the Metlapil Nuevo Destino group, achieved a transformation and transition of the determinants of the social fabric and has contributed to the increase in its reconstruction, which creates an endogenous strengthening that will be replicated to reach an exogenous strengthening.
